An update on the prototypes we play-tested at BGG.CON and the ones we left at home – where are we now? What’s coming next for Drayer Ink games?
Finally, Saturday! Before the convention, I felt like this was going to be the biggest day – everything would be pretty tame as we ramped up to the busiest day of the week. In fact, by Saturday, it was starting to feel a lot more like the end of the whole event – many of our people had already left, and the rest of us were pretty low-battery after a week of late nights.
Day 6 of our convention was Friday, and George had the day off, so we got to explore BGG.CON together! And we played Spirit Island with Eric Reuss!!
Day 5 of our TTN/BGG adventure is day 2 of the actual BGG convention. I had my first 6-player test of this version of The Valley, so that was stressing me out – so glad I got it out of the way, though! And after that, I relaxed and started to really enjoy myself properly, which was a great feeling – anxiety is a cruel beast…
We finally have time to start opening our Shelf of Opportunity. This is So, You’ve Been Eaten. I loved the Kickstarter campaign. But what was the game like to play? And will we play it again? Find out here!
Here’s a story about Akrotiri, or how I met my favourite game – AND ONE OF THE DESIGNERS
My friend and fellow game designer Bez told people why they shouldn’t back her Kickstarter, and it made me uncomfortable. I try to make a bit of sense of it here.
