How I Data Merge
When we prototype at Drayer Ink, we use a combination of tools: we create digital assets and artwork, then print them and make them into a physical prototype. Here’s a bit of detail about our process!
New Design – Bubble Net
Bubble Net is a game about humpback whales bubble-net feeding – try to let as few fish escape as you can, you need to eat! This is the first prototype and test of the game. It went well!
Unboxing – October TGC order
Recently, both George and I ordered prototypes of our games from The Game Crafter, and there were bits that weren’t quite right – this is the story of the replacement parts!
New Designs – Mycelia
Check out the first stages of our latest game design, Mycelia, which is about building a network of mycelium to encourage mushrooms to grow.
Adventures with the Drayers – Hoyt Arboretum

The roundabout way to The Way Out is Through
Generally, here at Drayer Ink, Cat does the designing and George does the developing, but in the case of The Way Out Is Through, this is 100% George’s oeuvre – and here is the unboxing of his very first Game Crafter prototype!
The Plot Quickens – first look
We decided to create a game design together, from scratch. We called it “the Plot Quickens”. Here’s how it’s going!
The Valley – latest prototype
We received the second prototype of The Valley! We still need to fix a couple of things, but it’s almost finished! Here’s a more detail about all that.

We finally have time to start opening our Shelf of Opportunity. This is So, You’ve Been Eaten. I loved the Kickstarter campaign. But what was the game like to play? And will we play it again? Find out here!
