  • PAX East – Day 4 (and home to PDX)

PAX East – Day 4 (and home to PDX)

Sunday was the last day of PAX, and also the day I travelled back to PDX and my lovely family. I made a much better effort at meeting people and playing more games, too!

  • PAX East – Day 3 – SATURDAY

    PAX East – Day 3 – SATURDAY

Saturday started out difficult, but it turned out really well – I played games, met new friends, and was a PANELIST AT PAX EAST

  • PAX East – Day 2 – FRIDAY

    PAX East – Day 2 – FRIDAY

Friday, day 2 of PAX East, was much busier in terms of attendance – so many people! I got to do more play-testing, and went out for dinner with friends!

  • PAX EAST – DAY 1 – THURSDAY

    PAX EAST – DAY 1 – THURSDAY

My first day at PAX East was also my first experience of a huge American convention. It was HUGE – about twice the size of the largest event I have attended prior to that.

    TOKENCON – DAY 3

Sunday, the last day of TokenCon 2023, was luckily a bit slower – but we still had a constant flow of interested players – and that night, we headed home to PDX!

  • TOKENCON – DAY 1

    TOKENCON – DAY 1

Day 1 of TokenCon was MUCh busier than we expected – we demoed Bubble Net all day, then we did a Game Jam and played some games!

  • TOKENCON 2023 – getting there

    TOKENCON 2023 – getting there

We had a tough choice – there were several other conventions on at the same time as TokenCon 2023, but the idea of a small convention where we could practice our setup and have a quiet first booth won out in the end – and we were glad that it did, even if it wasn’t…

We finally had a WHOLE weekend to dedicate to play-testing our prototypes! This is the overview, more details to follow as we process and implement what we have learnt!

    Unboxing Brambleton

Early last year, I got a Facebook message from my Aussie friend, Kate, inviting me to do a beta test of their system. We chose to use our prototype for Brambleton. Here’s how it went!
