Sunday was the last day of PAX, and also the day I travelled back to PDX and my lovely family. I made a much better effort at meeting people and playing more games, too!
Friday, day 2 of PAX East, was much busier in terms of attendance – so many people! I got to do more play-testing, and went out for dinner with friends!
My first day at PAX East was also my first experience of a huge American convention. It was HUGE – about twice the size of the largest event I have attended prior to that.
The second-to-last week of March, 2023, was a busy one chez Drayer! We flew back to PDX from OKC, landed, barely recovered, then I was off to Boston for PAX East!
Sunday, the last day of TokenCon 2023, was luckily a bit slower – but we still had a constant flow of interested players – and that night, we headed home to PDX!
The end of an amazing experience at TTN and BGG! We finished the week with some games, some shared meals, some laughs, and a long flight home to our wonderful pets.
Earlier this month, we attended our first major board game conference and convention in the USA – Tabletop Network Conference and BoardGameGeek Con. In this series of videos and blog posts, we attempt to tell you that story! This is day 1 – travelling from PDX to DFW, and arriving at the hotel.
