That’s Today!

Well, it’s been a minute or two since we last sat down and typed up what’s been happening chez Drayer Ink, hasn’t it?

If you follow our socials, you have probably seen at least some of our updates – lots of conventions, testing and developing our games, being on panels, and most relevant right now, preparing to launch our very first Kickstarter.

We will be going into some of the recent news in future posts, so let’s focus on our big news right now:

Bubble Net is coming to Kickstarter on Tuesday, June 11th, at 9am Pacific Time.

Bubble Net is a simple, meditative, abstract light strategy game – with only 18 cards, the more you play, the more you get to know the paths the fish might take.

It’s accessible for casual groups and makes a great lunchbreak chill-out session.

Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform, designed to help people raise the funds to complete a creative project. While a lot of big companies use it as a pre-sale store, small creators like us as Drayer Ink really still need to use it the way it was intended – we need enough backers to support the campaign to help us cover the costs of manufacturing, freight, game design, art, graphic design, customs/duties, Kickstarter and payment platform fees, taxes, convention booth, travel, and accommodation costs, business overheads, and hopefully, even something to pay us for all our work.
