When we prototype at Drayer Ink, we use a combination of tools: we create digital assets and artwork, then print them and make them into a physical prototype. Here’s a bit of detail about our process!
Bubble Net is a game about humpback whales bubble-net feeding – try to let as few fish escape as you can, you need to eat! This is the first prototype and test of the game. It went well!
Recently, both George and I ordered prototypes of our games from The Game Crafter, and there were bits that weren’t quite right – this is the story of the replacement parts!
Generally, here at Drayer Ink, Cat does the designing and George does the developing, but in the case of The Way Out Is Through, this is 100% George’s oeuvre – and here is the unboxing of his very first Game Crafter prototype!
That’s right, we are officially official! Both Drayer Ink and Copper Catkin are officially incorporated as Oregon businesses! This is our latest update.
Until now, “Drayer Ink” has been the name under which we operate on social media, and the logo we put on our games, but it hasn’t been an actual business. Follow along as we start to jump through the required hoops!
